Elisabeth S.C. Berger is Professor for New Business Venturing and innovative Regions and Head of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. She received her doctorate from the University of Hohenheim. In her research, she focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystems and spaces, the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in transformation processes (digital, circular bioeconomy), and perceptions of society and social evaluations in Innovation and entrepreneurship. Her research has appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing and the Journal of Business Research.
